Unit 12

We offer guaranteed Mule Deer hunts for all weapon types on our private ranches in Western New Mexico.

hese hunts take place on over 500,000 contiguous acres of ranches in unit 12 that have some of the best Mule Deer genetics in the world. These ranches have very low densities of deer however the chances of seeing a 180″+ deer are very good. Hunters should expect to see very few bucks during a hunt but the chances of seeing a buck well over the 200″ mark are higher than in most areas. Harvest percentages are fairly low during the early general seasons because of the thick vegetation and low densities.

The archery deer season is in the month of September while the bucks are in full velvet. The rifle and muzzleloader seasons are in late October and early November during the pre-rut. These are all spot and stalk type hunts in high desert terrain at approximately 7500′ elevation with Pinion and Juniper vegetation and are NOT extremely physically demanding.

We do offer several special Mule Deer “Habitat Enhancement” tags that can be hunted during the peak of the rut in December. These tags are extremely limited and highly coveted therefore they require advanced booking. All meals and lodging are included and hunters get to enjoy comfortable lodge style accommodations on these hunts. Guests are welcome for an additional fee. Hunters are responsible for flying to Albuquerque, New Mexico the day prior to the start date of their hunt and driving to our Pie Town lodge.

Unit 32

We offer guaranteed rifle Mule Deer hunts on our private ranches in unit 32 in Eastern New Mexico.

These ranches are all located just outside of Roswell, New Mexico. These hunts take place on over 300,000 acres of contiguous ranches that have fairly good numbers of deer. These hunts have an incredible 90-100% harvest rate on 150-180″+ deer. We offer multiple season dates from late October through mid November. These are pre-rut hunts however because of the open terrain, the deer are easy to locate. This is a spot and stalk type hunt in open sandhill terrain at approximately 4000′ elevation.

Hunters do need to prepared to shoot longer ranges because of the open terrain. We ask hunters to be prepared for 300-400 yards shots on these hunts. At this time we only offer rifle hunting opportunities on these ranches. Meals and lodging are included and the accommodations are based out of a hotel or ranch house. Hunters are responsible for flying to either Albuquerque or Roswell, New Mexico the day prior to the start date of their hunt. Hunters that fly directly into Roswell will be picked up by us and hunters that fly into Albuquerque will need to rent a vehicle and drive to Roswell.
