Our outfitter on the north island of New Zealand offers exceptional hunting for red stag, along with fallow deer, rusa deer, sambar deer, sika deer, rams and goats. 

With over 3,000 acres of prime New Zealand wilderness, hunters will need to have patience as well as skill and technique.  Hunting methods will primarily be spot and stalk, and both rifle and archery hunters are welcome. 

Main hunting seasons are from late February to early August, when the Red Stag, Sika and Fallow deer are all hard antlered.  The rut for Red Stag starts around the middle of March, with Sika, Fallow and Rusa starting about a month later.  

This is also one of the top fly-fishing destinations anywhere in the world.  Fish rivers in the heart of New Zealand’s back country that are accessed by 4 WD or helicopter.  Do this as a stand alone trip or add it on to your hunting package.  

You can choose from on of the many hunting packages they have set up or design your own package to fit your needs.  This is a family friendly outfitter, so bring your spouse and kids.   There are many activities besides hunting, like fishing, hiking, ATV rides, horse rides, etc.  There literally is something for everyone. 

You can choose from 3 styles of lodging, from the main lodge with 7 private cabins, to the luxurious private villa that can hold parties up to 16 guests, to the glamping style safari camp.  

Guest will fly to Taupo, through Auckland, and the outfitter will pick you up there.

Transportation to Taupo, meat processing, taxidermy, dip and pack, shipping animals home, gratuities.
